The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Management degree program
blends theory and practice and is designed to provide learners with
the business knowledge and skills needed to lead 21st-century
organizations in global, uncertain, and rapidly changing environments.
Throughout the program, learners develop and apply foundational,
interdisciplinary business knowledge and critical- and
systems-thinking skills. Learners engage in a curriculum in which they
integrate research, theory, and personal reflection with practice;
evaluate the wisdom and practicality of organizational theories,
structures, and systems; and explore other related topics, including
accounting, finance, and marketing; global micro- and macroeconomics;
strategy; leadership; ethics; and research. Upon successful completion
of this degree program, learners are prepared to apply business
knowledge and skills in research, teaching, consulting, or
management.
