*The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE® Credit) has evaluated and recommended college-level credit for 25 of Sophia’s online courses. Sophia’s courses are ACE® Credit recommended for transfer to many colleges and universities.
A simple way to complete your gen ed requirements
Capella students receive access to ACE® Credit-recommended courses for college-level credit from our affiliate, Sophia Learning. Sophia is intended for learners in our GuidedPath format; learners who will begin a program in the FlexPath format must complete any Sophia courses or other transfer work prior to enrolling. Talk to your enrollment counselor to learn more.*
*All transfer and Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) credit must be completed prior to starting any program in the FlexPath format. Any professional certification or external courses taken concurrently with FlexPath enrollment cannot be recognized in the Capella degree program.
